Founded by former Peugeot dealership mechanics who specialized in restoring vintage European models, Hon City Auto Car Centre has become the go-to workshop for owners of discontinued vehicles like the 2005–2007 Peugeot 207 GTI. When other workshops refused to touch its unique EAT8 automatic transmission or its rare 1.6 HDi engine, they took on the challenge — and now regularly source parts from across Europe to keep these cars running. Their expertise extends beyond standard repair; they're known for handling complex cases like retrofitting discontinued components and rebuilding rare engine internals that others can’t touch.
Our story
When a 2006 Peugeot 207 GTI owner brought in his car with a failed EAT8 automatic transmission, Hon City Auto Car Centre took on the project — even though the part had been discontinued for over a decade. They spent months sourcing a compatible unit from France and rebuilt it in-house to meet the original specifications. The car was back on the road within two weeks, and the owner became one of their most loyal clients.
